I closed my McDonalds short position yesterday but the stock kept diving today. Well, am I feel upset why I cover the short so early? Honestly, I do. But, there is always win or loss in stock market trading, still I did made some little money on McDonald, just that not that much. Compared to loss, I am far better 
I am still holding on to another 2 short positon now, they are Lorillard & Airtran Holdings. I just checked my portfolio, I have a profit between 7% – 11% and I am still riding on the down trend.
Ok, let’s focus back to today stock market picks. I found another interest stock counter to look at again using the trading system I back tested earlier. I am now doing some forward testing by bring the system to test in the real stock market.
As I mentioned earlier that I have covered back my McDonalds short position, while I am still holding on to the other two short position that I have – they are Lorillard & Airtran Holding.

While during the election day last week, I spotted McDonalds that it is trading very near to the resistance level, I initiated a short position with a stop loss.
I opened a total of 3 short positions last week, they are McDonalds, Lorillard & Airtran Holdings Inc. I decided to cover my McDonalds short position today.
Obama has finally won the US presidential election to be the 44th president and the first African American to get into the white house. The Asian stock generally reacted positively to the news, but Europe and US market seem to be in the red as I am writing this post. There might be some profit taking action going on.

US is holding their presidential election today. We have seen a rally in the US markets since last week and many people believe that is so called presidential election rally. Obama fights against McCain. It is also one of the historical moment for American as they either elect the first African American or the first oldest president elected to a first term.

After selecting a few stocks to monitor on New York Stock Exhange (Stock Picks Part 1 & Stock Picks Part 2), I am using the same screening method to look for stock picks on Singapore Exchange.
Let me just repeat my stock selection rule. These stocks are trading very near to the resistance level now and likely it will dive down again if the resistance holds.
