I thought Dow Jones would not close higher than 9,000 points last Friday. I was wrong, the Dow Jones Industrial Average managed to push to a high of 9,065 and closed at 9,034 level. That seems to be a good news to cheer for on the 1st trading day of 2009.
But is Dow Jones Ready for a Bull Run?

First of all, happy new year to all. May 2009 will be a good start for Wall Street and Dow Jones. My previous post was anticipating to have NO Year End Rally for 2008. Indeed, the market swung side way on the final week of 2008.
There are people arguing to be reversal or recovery on 2009, do you think so?

After posting about the Dow Jones Industrial average daily and weekly trend last week, I was following the Dow Jones market very closely last week. I thought there would be some bearish sentiment developing and the market might trend lower due to the stalling of the auto bail out plan.
Finally, white house utilized the financial rescue package to give a big hand to the automakers. However, you might be wondering, how come the market did not rally up and cheer after receiving such a news. The market was almost staying flat for the last one week.
Let’s do a quick review now! And see if there would be any year end rally or not.

S&P500 has hit the 2002 low, but Dow Jones is still about 300+ points away from the 7,100 lowest level in 2002. Do you think Dow Jones will continue to dive to touch the 7,100?

After looking at the stock market trends of US market, I believe that the market has entered into a sideway market. Sideway market means the market will rebound from support and retrace from resistance. It is a great opportunity for stock market trading.

It has been a while since I last posted the Dow Jones Weekly Stock Market Trends. I was focusing a bit too much on the stock market picks and some of the recent short position that I took.
It prompted me to post the Dow Jones Weekly Stock Market Trends today because I spotted that the Dow Jones index is now trading on the key support, breaking such support will see the stock market contine to dive to possibly 2002 low. If it holds, then, we may see a technical rebound again continue with a side way market.

US elected Obama as the 44th US president, however, the market did not cheer about it instead, it dive by more than 400+ points on Dow Jones Industrial Average. Dow Jones has enjoyed quite a good rally for a week before the election which many people believe to the election rally.
It is now time to focus back to the economic. US and the world is still facing one of the toughest time since the great depression. There will definitely need lots of work to be done before we can regain all the investor confidence into the market. Otherwise, I do believe that the market will remain weak for the next 1 year at least. That’s my thought.

Obama has finally won the US presidential election to be the 44th president and the first African American to get into the white house. The Asian stock generally reacted positively to the news, but Europe and US market seem to be in the red as I am writing this post. There might be some profit taking action going on.
Do you think the rally will still last? What is my stock pick today?
